What does membership to SEAS provide....

The money raised from the membership fees is used by the club in a number of different ways.
In order to bring outside speakers we have to cover their costs in terms of travel and in some cases accomodation.

This year (2007) we have also affilated the society with the FBH. The aim behind this was to allow members wider access to UK based reptile fairs/shows (which in recent years have become members only events) through the FBH affilation scheme which allows members of affilated clubs and society's to attended each others avents.

As a bonus the club trip to Amazonia in August will be free for members as the committee have opted to use club funds to pay for those members that attend.

Finally the following Reptile shops have kindly agreed to give members a 10% discount on reptiles and associated products on production of their membership cards (please note that items that have already been discounted or that are on special offer may not be subject to the society discount)
